Design

Before anything gets built, it gets drawn. I develop ideas through quick concept sketches, then work them up as SketchUp models and renderings that help clients see the finished piece, and turn them into shop drawings that crews can build from.

With a background in art and decades in the shop, I design with fabrication in mind: how a piece will be cut, assembled, shipped, installed, and used. These drawings show that thinking, from first idea to buildable plan.
