Exhibits

Hands-on museum exhibits built to teach, delight, and survive years of enthusiastic use.

As Exhibit Director at Betty Brinn Children's Museum and Discovery Center Museum, I led gallery renovations, developed makerspace programs, and kept full museums of interactive exhibits running. Through my own business, Cook's Handywork, I've worked with dozens of museums across North America, and I've traveled extensively to manage installs of traveling exhibits.

Good exhibits start with how people learn and play, then get engineered to hold up to thousands of small hands. I work across concept, SketchUp design, fabrication, and installation.
