Irish Market Sign

The brief
Deer District needed a dimensional, illuminated version of its Irish Market logo for the March 2026 market.
My role
I handled the sign from start to finish: redrawing the logo, building the 3D model, cutting each character, and sealing, painting, and custom wiring the LED neon lighting.
The challenge
The logo was full of small details that looked great in print but wouldn't hold up as cut, dimensional pieces. It had to be adapted for fabrication without losing what made it recognizable.
How I delivered
I redrew the logo, simplifying and adjusting the fine details so every element could be cut and finished cleanly while staying true to the original design. From there I built the 3D model, cut each character individually, sealed and painted every piece, and custom wired LED neon to light it. The whole project went smoothly from drawing to delivery.
The result
Based on this sign and our earlier work on their holiday market, the client made Events By Design its de facto producer.
